9 Tips for good outfit choices

So for all of you Brides out there here are some tips that will help you prepare for your engagement session!

1. You can choose two outfits! Choose one outfit that’s normally on the dressier side and outfit that’s relaxed and casual. The more outfits you have the fewer portraits you'll receive but you will have more variety in your portraits.

2. Coordination doesn't mean "matching'. Wearing the same colour is a different shade works better that trying to match the exact colour. However I would suggest avoid wearing red tops and white trousers as it could come across very uniformed!

3. Patterns are fine- but keep at least one of you in neutral to town it down.

4. Just an Idea! You could match your attire with your wedding day and save the dates... maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but it's always an option and makes choosing an outfit a whole lot easier.

5. Keep it simple. Don't overthink it, a simple shirt and blouse will work just as well.

6. Be sure that you are both the same when it comes to how formal you dress. If the Groom is going to turn up in a shirt and tie, maybe the Bride shouldn’t turn up in Jeans a top.

7. Be you. Its great to wear skinny jeans, and a floaty top... that’s probably what I'd wear! However if you have an 'edgy' creative side, don't be afraid to show it. Show it off! ;)

8. Dress it up! Necklaces, bracelets, scarfs, belts.... If they go, don’t hesitate to wear them.

9. Wear attire that suits you!! Something that’s flattering to your figure and skin tone. Make sure your comfortable in what you have on and are flattering in the right places so that confidence shines through. You may think, "Oh she can photo shop me" however if you don't like how you look in that outfit on a normal day, your not going to like it in pictures! You will love your images so much more if you’re in an outfit that you love how you look.
